La Grande Odyssée in Avoriaz

La Grande Odyssée, is a magnificent husky race that encompases the Savoie Mont-Blanc region, and it started in Avoriaz yesterday.

It was a fantastic spectacle as the participants raced Avoriaz’s 60 km first stage, despite some challenging snow conditions…

The snow is falling and its getting heavier…

Forecast is for a good old dump!

TVR V8 too much for Snowy’s Land Rover!

We recently replaced the tired engine in our old Series 3 Land Rover.

The TVR V8 we installed proved quite a handful on her original brakes & suspension! Then her equally tired gearbox screamed “too much” and started to come apart!

We can’t be without a properly functioning Land Rover up here in the winter, so we brought a broken diesel & performed another round of heart transplant surgery!
